Summarize Written Text | PTE Write Essay
PTE Write Essay is the second PTE writing
task that requires you to write a long essay about any given topic. SummarizeWritten Text is the first writing task of the PTE Writing section. Summarize
Written Text questions can cover a wide range of topics ranging from science to
nature to history, but the PTE Write Essay topics seem to focus more on social
issues. It is your responsibility to write an argumentative essay on the essay
topics. You must also provide many examples in support of your essay. Writing
this essay requires following a structure, which consists of an introduction, a
body, and a conclusion. You can use your own experience and provide examples to
write the essay. You will be asked to summarize a large piece of text into a
concise sentence capturing the main idea and supporting clauses.
You must follow certain word limits for
both tasks, and if you do not, then your response may not be evaluated. Please
refer to the official PTE website for more information on how this is scored.
We have also explained the scoring criteria in detail on Edutrainex blog posts,
which will provide you with a better understanding of PTE Write Essay questions
and Summarize Written Text questions. Summarize Written Task has a time limit
of ten minutes per question, which cannot be carried forward to other
questions, and the same applies to the PTE Write Essay questions, where you get
a fixed amount of time of twenty minutes per question and must only use it for
the essay questions.
A strong command of English language,
especially grammar, is needed to answer Summarize Written Text questions, since
you only have one sentence to convey the essence of the paragraph you read. You
should not just paste the sentences you read in the given text, but actually
write them in your own words in order to demonstrate your mastery of the
language. The Edutrainex Summarize Written Text templates cater to students of
all levels, so you can choose the template that suits your needs if you are
unable to do that. In the same way, you will also need to demonstrate sound
grammar skills as well as spelling and vocabulary skills when responding to PTE
Write Essay questions in your own words. If you are struggling to write a good
structure for the essay questions, you can use the Edutrainex templates
provided for PTE Write Essay questions. In addition to demonstrating excellent
structural skills, these templates also show good written discourse and
coherence skills. We provide a variety of templates, including ready-made ones
that just require you to add a few keywords, and you're good to go. As for the
other ones, you will still need to write around twenty percent of the essay,
filling in the template's gaps.

get your responses checked by an English expert. If you do this activity
